These anaemia test are also used by professional in clinics and community setings for an immediate Hb blood level if they suspect anaemia and cant wait for a lab test. The accuracy is very close to a lab test. It is an ideal bit of kit to have in a GP surgery for a nurse to perform as a screen, especially out of hours or late evenings when a blood test may have to wait 18-24 hrs to be completed by a hospital lab.
